Quran-Surah/Soorah e Faatihah-Alhamdu

1-alhamdu-1-quran

Soorah Al-Fāatiḥah (Arabic: سُّورَةُ الفَاتِحَة‎) is the first chapter (Soorah) of the Qur;aan. Its seven verses (Ayaat) are a prayer for the guidance, lordship and mercy of the reciter’s God [Allaah Kareem]
This chapter has an essential role in Islaamic prayer (Salāat). The primary literal meaning of the expression “al-Fāatiḥah” is “The Opening,” it is the first Soorah recited in each cycle (Rakʿat) of prayer, or to the manner in which it serves as an opening for many functions in everyday Islaamic life.

Allaah in the name of The Most Affectionate, the Merciful.

All praise unto Allaah, Lord of all the worlds.

The most Affectionate, The Merciful.

Master of the Day of Requital.

We worship You alone, and beg You alone for help.

Guide us in the straight path.

The path of those whom You have favored. Not of those who have earned Your anger and nor of those who have gone astray.
